Corey Conners PGA Championship Prediction 2023

It's been an interesting last two months for Corey Conners. After missing the cut at the Players Championship, he earned his second career PGA Tour win at the Valero Texas Open. He then missed the cut at the Masters before finishing T31 at RBC Heritage and T8 at the Wells Fargo Championship.

Conners has proven he is a contender when at the top of his game, but he can also be out of the running almost immediately when things aren't going right. He returns to the PGA Championship this weekend, where he has had trouble in the past and has posted one top-40 finish in four appearances.

Keep in mind that Conners ranks 84th on the PGA Tour in terms of driving accuracy, which means he may be in trouble since Oak Hill is a course known for its smaller greens and severe bunkers. I wouldn't even advise a top-40 finish considering Conners hasn't hit that mark in four of his last eight showings.
