Collin Morikawa PGA Championship Prediction 2023

Collin Morikawa is in need of a bounce-back outing considering he has missed the cut at each of his last two PGA Tour events.

More 2023 PGA Championship betting content from The Duel:

Oak Hill features smaller greens and severe bunkers, making it crucial that golfers are able to excel from the fairway. That bodes well for Morikawa's chances of staying near the top of the leaderboard given he is gaining 1.04 strokes on the field on average with his approach game (No. 4 on PGA Tour).

Morikawa's T55 finish at last year's PGA Championship is certainly a cause for concern here, but it's worth overlooking considering how this course plays right into the 26-year-old's strengths. I'll back Morikawa for a top-30 finish (+115) and I wouldn't be shocked if he exceeds those expectations, too.
