Collin Morikawa Masters Prediction 2023

Morikawa is not a typical 26-year-old golfer. He has already earned five outright wins on the PGA Tour and has made the cut in 71 of his 84 career appearances. That is a level of efficiency rarely seen in the sport. Morikawa has unfinished business to take care after finishing fifth at The Masters in 2022.

There's a lot to like about Morikawa's chances of being in the mix on Sunday. He has posted four top-10 finishes in his last seven PGA Tour tournaments, highlighted by a third place finish at the Farmers Insurance Open in January. He has logged 29 top-10 finishes despite only turning pro in 2019.

The stats prove that Morikawa's breakout isn't happening by luck, either. The former Cal-Berkeley star ranks second in Strokes Gained (SG): Approach the Green, fourth in SG: Tee to Green and ninth in SG: Total. Back Morikawa for a top-10 finish (+210) and sprinkle some cash on an outright win as well.
