Week 18 of the 2022 NFL season features a pair of Saturday matchups, including an AFC West showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders.

The Chiefs were in a divisional matchup last week, defeating the Denver Broncos 27-24 to pick up their fourth straight win. Meanwhile, a 37-34 overtime loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17 saw the Raiders lose for the third time in their last four outings.

Can the Chiefs win to stay in contention for the AFC's No. 1 seed? Or will the Raiders play spoiler to their divisional rivals?

Chiefs vs Raiders Prediction & Pick

Defeating the Raiders isn't too tough of a task for the Chiefs. After all, Kansas City has bested Las Vegas in 16 of their last 19 collisions, having not lost to its AFC West rival on the road since October 2017. What's even more impressive is that the Chiefs have a plus-13.7 scoring margin and a 46.8% third-down conversion rate during that span.

The Chiefs also have something worth fighting for this week (No. 1 AFC seed), whereas the Raiders are set to miss the playoffs for the 18th time since the 2003 NFL season. Even though Kansas City only beat Las Vegas by one point in Week 5, the Chiefs are the clear-cut better team and shouldn't come close to losing this week as long as they stick to their brand of football.

Look for the Chiefs to enter the postseason on a winning note.

Final Score Prediction: Chiefs: 31 | Raiders: 23

Chiefs vs Raiders Best Bet

Anyone hoping for some Week 18 fireworks must tune into this divisional clash. The highest-scoring team in the NFL (29.1 PPG), the Chiefs have experienced the over in six of their eight road games thus far. Furthermore, the over is 5-1 in the Raiders' last six games at Allegiant Stadium.

If that's not convincing enough, Kansas City and Las Vegas have combined for the over in each of their last five meetings, averaging 59.8 points while going over 51.5 in each of those contests.

With the Chiefs looking for some last-minute momentum ahead of the playoffs and the Raiders wanting to end the campaign on a high note, expect a lot of points on the board.
