Kansas City advanced to the AFC Championship after a 42-36 overtime victory over the No. 3 Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round.

There's only two teams remaining in the AFC, and the Chiefs will take on the No. 4 seed Cincinnati Bengals in the Championship Round. If Kansas City is able to take care of business, they will play the winner of the San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 56.

If the Chiefs are able to defeat the Bengals in the Conference Championship, this sets up a Super Bowl LVI clash between them and the winner of the 49ers-Rams matchup. The Super Bowl will be held on Sunday, Feb. 13.

The Chiefs have played in four previous Super Bowls. Kansas City has posted a 2-2 record across those four games. The Chiefs first appeared in the Super Bowl in 1967 (for the 1966 NFL season) and lost to the Green Bay Packers, 35-10. Kansas City next appeared in the Super Bowl in 1970 (for the 1969 NFL season) and defeated the Minnesota Vikings, 23-7.
