Chiefs Schedule for 2022 Offseason Workouts, OTAs & Minicamp Revealed

Kansas City Chiefs fans are anxious to see their team back in action after a busy offseason. This Super Bowl contender will sport a new look on offense after trading Tyreek Hill, but they've added talent around stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce to help them compete.

It turns out fans won't have to wait too long for their next look at Mahomes and co. on the field.

Chiefs Offseason Schedule

The NFL announced the offseason workout schedules for all 32 teams on Friday. This overview lays out when teams will first begin voluntary workouts, along with dates for OTAs and mandatory minicamp in the lead up to the season.

The Chiefs' first day of voluntary offseason workouts is set to begin on April 18. The first phase of this period focuses on non-contact aspects like meetings and strength/conditioning training. Phase Two includes on-field individual and position group drills, but no contact is allowed.

Organized team practice activity (OTAs) is Phase Three, which features 7-on-7, 9-on-9 and 11-on-11 work. Kansas City's OTAs will run during the dates of May 25-26, May 31-June 2 and June 7-June 10.

Finally, mandatory minicamp begins the ramp up to the regular season. The Chiefs will host their minicamp from June 14-16.
