Chiefs Get Disappointing Kadarius Toney Injury Update Ahead of Week 14.

Updated:

When the Kansas City Chiefs dealt for Kadarius Toney at the trade deadline this season, he supposedly had a hamstring injury, but that quickly healed up and he was ready to get on the field in Kansas City. However, it didn't take long for Toney's hamstring to act up again and the former first-round pick has been out since Week 11.

While there was some hope that Toney might get back on the field in Week 14, that won't be the case. The Chiefs have officially ruled Toney out for Sunday's game.

Toney's best game with the Chiefs came in Week 10, where he hauled in four catches for 57 yards and his first-career touchdown.

Toney's playmaking ability is certainly something Kansas City is missing, but getting him healthy enough to contribute in the playoffs is paramount.

Kansas City is currently a 9.5-point road favorite against the Denver Broncos in Week 14, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
