Chargers vs Browns Prediction Week 5

Early NFL predictions and picks are from ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI).
Chargers: 48.0% to win
Browns: 51.4% to win

This battle could come down to the final few minutes, according to the opening betting lines. ESPN's FPI is rolling with the Browns in this Sunday clash, but I disagree and am siding with the Chargers. LA is starting to figure things out after a slow start to the season and have a massive advantage at quarterback. Justin Herbert's ability to keep plays alive with his scrambling abilities will be a huge benefit in this contest. While Nick Chubb is a beast, LA will be ready for him. Bet Chargers ML (-122).
