Cameron Young Masters Prediction 2023

Cameron Young is a rising pro on the PGA Tour given he has posted a top-10 finish in nine of his 34 career appearances. However, he has been far from perfect in the 2022-23 campaign. Young has tallied four top-20 finishes in nine events, but has also placed outside the top 50 golfers three times.

Inconsistency is a worrisome trait to have in a sport where athletes regularly capitalize on momentum to earn wins. Young made his Masters debut in 2022, missing the cut after posting a score of 77 in each of the first two rounds. He is still fairly inexperienced compared to the rest of this year's field.

Young also ranks outside the top 45 golfers in terms of Strokes Gained (SG): Total this season. While the 25-year-old has shown promise at times, this is the grandest stage of them all and backing a top-20 finish would mean taking on -135 juiced odds. It's best to avoid Young entirely over the weekend.
