Coverage: TNT

The 2022-23 NBA season has a four-game slate planned for Tuesday, Nov. 1. One game that people will want to keep an eye on is a meeting between the Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets. The Bulls could use the win after losing three of their last four games, including a 114-109 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers in their last outing.

Meanwhile, the Nets aim to win their second straight game following a 116-109 victory against the Indiana Pacers on Monday. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving led the way with 36 and 28 points, respectively. Only time will tell if the duo can lead Brooklyn to win back-to-back games for the first time this season.

The Nets enter this contest as slight home favorites on the moneyline and spread per FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This 7:30 p.m. ET clash also features an over/under of 230.5 points, which is the highest of Tuesday's projected totals.

Bulls vs Nets Prediction & Pick

If there's one place that the Bulls hate to play in, it's the Barclays Center. Chicago is an abysmal 2-7 straight up in its last nine road games against Brooklyn, allowing an average of 111.2 points while only scoring 107.4 PPG.

There's a decent chance that the Bulls' woes in Brooklyn will continue this week. After all, Chicago is dealing with injuries to several key players. Andre Drummond has already been ruled out, so his 10.2 rebounds per game will be missed. Meanwhile, Zach LaVine, Colby White and Ayo Dosunmu are questionable and could be held out since the Bulls are in action again on Wednesday.

Even shorthanded, though, the Bulls have a more well-rounded roster than the Nets. Brooklyn essentially has Durant, Irving and sometimes Nic Claxton stepping up. With Seth Curry sidelined due to injury and Ben Simmons possibly missing Tuesday's game, the Nets could potentially look even worse than they already have.

Throw in the fact that the Bulls are one of the most accurate three-point shooting teams while the Nets guard the perimeter for the life of them, I'm backing Chicago to win this one on the road.

Final Score Prediction: Bulls: 113 | Nets: 103

Bulls vs Nets Best Bet

Points have been tough for both teams to consistently come by this season, sitting in the bottom half of league scoring. With a 230.5-point total, I'm inclined to take the under. After all, the total has hit the under in six of the last seven Bulls-Nets matchups, yielding an average total of 219.7 points.

Bet: Under 230.5 (-110)
