What Seed Are the Buccaneers?

Tampa Bay will be the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs. They'll face the 7-seed Philadelphia Eagles in the first round.

Buccaneers Playoffs 2022

The Buccaneers will be one of six NFC teams playing during the first round of the playoffs. Wild Card Weekend will feature the six teams from each conference that did not earn a bye, while the No. 1 seed in each conference will not play until the second round.

Buccaneers Playoff Dates

Tampa Bay will play in the opening round of the playoffs against the Eagles.

Wild Card Weekend will feature two games on Saturday, Jan. 15, three games on Sunday, Jan. 16, and one game on Monday, Jan. 17. Tampa Bay will be assigned one of these three dates.

The second round, aka the Divisional Round, will take place from Jan. 22-Jan. 23. That is followed by the conference championship round on Jan. 30. The Super Bowl is scheduled for Feb. 13.
