Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season includes a showdown between the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders. The Broncos were involved in a low-scoring affair last week but still managed to walk out with the 11-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers despite Denver generating only 261 total offensive yards.

Meanwhile, the Raiders' disastrous start to the season continued thanks to a 24-22 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Las Vegas' offense just couldn't get the ball rolling when it counted, going just 1-of-9 on third-down conversions.

Updated (Sunday, Oct. 2, 10:20 a.m. EST): The Raiders enter this contest as a slight home favorite on the moneyline and spread on FanDuel Sportsbook's updated odds. This 4:25 p.m. ET clash also features a total of 45.5, which is among the highest of the projected Week 4 totals.

Broncos vs Raiders Prediction & Pick

Even though the Broncos' offense has struggled thus far, it's hard to imagine them losing to the winless Raiders. Yes, Las Vegas is capable of being better than it's shown, but it can't be ignored that its three losses have come to teams that are a combined 0-6 in the games where they didn't play the Raiders.

The Raiders also own a bottom-10 scoring defense while also surrendering 346.7 total yards per game (No. 17). This is the perfect opportunity for Russell Wilson and the Broncos offensive to finally get on track.

Throw in the fact that Denver's defense is giving up the second-fewest points this season and it's not hard to like the Broncos pulling off an upset at Allegiant Stadium.

Final Score Prediction: Broncos: 23 | Raiders: 14

Broncos vs Raiders Betting Trends

- Denver is 11-8 straight up in its last 19 road games against Las Vegas.
- Las Vegas is 3-7 against the spread (ATS) in its last 10 games against the AFC.
- The total has hit the under in 11 of Denver's last 14 games.
- The total has hit the under in nine of Las Vegas' last 11 games against Denver.

Broncos vs Raiders Best Bet

The Broncos should have the edge in this matchup due to their elite defense. The Raiders offense just hasn't lived up to expectations and hasn't played a defense on Denver's level just yet. Allegiant Stadium also doesn't provide much of an advantage considering how Las Vegas last lost five of its last eight home games.

The Broncos' defenders will get the stops when needed and I expect Wilson to find his grove against an underperforming Raiders defense, leading to a Denver victory.

Bet: Broncos Moneyline (+120)
