Nickal vs Pickett Prediction

An incredibly accomplished collegiate wrestler, Bo Nickal has had no issue transitioning into the MMA world. He's already fought twice on Dana White's Contender Series, defeating both Zachary Borrego and Donovan Beard by submission by 1:02 or earlier into the first round.

Nickal gets to make his UFC PPV debut against Jamie Pickett, who has dropped four of his last six fights. The 34-year-old veteran has been finished in each of his last two outings, suffering a second-round TKO loss to Denis Tiuliulin in his most recent fight.

Nickal looks like he's poised to be something special, so back him to get the better of Pickett this weekend.

Winner: Bo Nickal

Nickal vs Pickett Best Bet

With the odds being this lopsided, there's no real value coming from backing Nickal on the moneyline. Instead, I recommend taking him to win by submission in Round 1 at -105 odds. After all, Nickal has submitted his last two opponents quickly. Pickett has also lost by submission three times in his career with two of those instances coming in the first round.

Expect Nickal to make quick work of Pickett, forcing him to tap or snap in the first frame.

Bet: Bo Nickal to Win by Submission in Round 1 (-105)
