Bills Get Encouraging News on Tre'Davious White Injury

Updated:

There's a multitude of reasons the 2022 version of the Buffalo Bills seems special, seem destined for a Super Bowl, and are the prohibitive championship favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook. Among the many reasons is the best defensive unit in football, and by a longshot.

Buffalo leads the league in points and yards allowed by impressive margins, and they've done so without a two-time Pro Bowl cornerback in Tre'Davious White.

White hasn't played a snap of live football in 2022 after his ACL injury, but finally took the step of returning back to practice about 10 days ago. Now, the team gets even more encouraging news on the All-Pro's impending return.

Bills insider Joe Buscaglia reported comments from defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, who said White's return "doesn't seem like we're that far away." The Bills had a bye in Week 8, and Sunday's home tilt against the Green Bay Packers could be the perfect opportunity for this return.

Fortunately, Buffalo's defense has remained elite without the talents of a shutdown corner. But there's no reason for fans not to be over joyous about this addition to the secondary.

For now, the Bills hold leading +270 odds to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
