Bills Coach Provides Welcome Injury Update on Josh Allen

Updated:

When Josh Allen first sustained his elbow injury in Week 9 against the New York Jets, he had all of Western New York holding its collective breath. With surgery rumored to be on the table at first, things quickly improved for Allen and he ended up not even missing any games because of it.

The Bills QB has been able to rehab his elbow a bit while still playing through the pain. Still, the questions around his health have remained as he's only thrown for over 300 yards once from Week 9 on, while he did it four times from Weeks 1-8.

The good news is that head coach Sean McDermott said things are continually looking up, say "each week he's gotten a little better."

His reps in practice have increased again this week and that's surely a welcomed sign for Bills fans as the team approaches the playoffs and is battling for the AFC's No. 1 seed.

The Bills as a team are humming along though, currently on a four-game winning streak. In Week 15, Buffalo goes up against the Miami Dolphins, where the Bills are a 7-point favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
