3 Best Value Bets for The Masters 2023 at Augusta National

Updated:

The Masters has finally arrived in 2023. Golf's first major of the year is set to tee off on Thursday, April 6 with 88 players vying for a shot at the Green Jacket at forever golf fame.

Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is out looking for a repeat, while some guys will be happy to make the cut, or just put up four good scores.

FanDuel Sportsbook has available options to bet all over the field, whether you want to take someone to win, finish in the top 20, perform better than another golfer in a single matchup and tons of other prop bets.

Let's take a look at three value bets to keep an eye on ahead of the 2023 Masters.

2023 The Masters Value Bets

1. Collin Morikawa Top-10 Finish (+210)

Collin Morikawa already has an impressive career resume in major championships. With two wins to his name, he's already ahead of what most pro golfers ever accomplish and he's only 26 years old. Over his last 10 starts in a major, Morikawa has five top-10 finishes and has one top-five finish in his two appearances at The Masters, which came in 2022.

2. Max Homa Top-10 Finish (+240)

Max Homa might not have the impressive resume at The Masters that someone like Morikawa does, but he is tearing it up this season, and heading into this event, playing some of the best golf on tour. Across his last eight starts, Homa has finished in the top-10 six times. He even had a T6 at THE PLAYERS Championship a few weeks ago against what will be a similarly elite field this week. Homa is in the midst of a breakout campaign and has proven he can hang with the best of them, this week he gets to prove it on the biggest stage.

3. Justin Rose Top-20 Finish (+185) And/Or Round 1 Leader (+5500)

Unlike the first two names on this list, Justin Rose has a ton of experience at Augusta, and while he's never won the Green Jacket, he does have a great resume here, that includes two runner-up finishes. Rose has played in The Masters 17 times in his career, and he's finished inside the top-2 in 10 of those instances. Of those 10 top-20 finishes, six of them have been top-10's. Rose also has seven Round 1 scores in the 60's at Augusta National, including two in the last three years, which makes him an intriguing bet for leader after Round 1 at +5500.
