3 Best Super Bowl 57 Passing Prop Bets for Chiefs vs Eagles

3 Best Super Bowl 57 Passing Prop Bets for Chiefs vs Eagles

Updated:

Super Bowl LVII is quickly approaching on Sunday, February 12, and the betting world will be buzzing ready to place wagers on any and all angles of the game.

From the spread to over/unders, novelty props and player props, FanDuel Sportsbook has hundreds of ways you can wager on Super Bowl LVII.

When it comes to props, there are props for passing, receiving, rushing, defense, kickers, teams, and anything in between.

Let's take a look at three passing props to consider for this year's Super Bowl between the Chiefs and Eagles.

Best Super Bowl 57 Passing Props

1. Patrick Mahomes Over 39.5 Passing Attempts

Patrick Mahomes averages more passing yards per game as both an underdog and in close games. He is an underdog in Super Bowl LVII and it is also expected to be a close game with a 1.5-point spread. Mahomes averages over 43 attempts per game as an underdog. Additionally, in games decided by three points or less so far this season and in the playoffs, Mahomes averages just shy of 41 attempts per game.

2. Patrick Mahomes Exact Passing TDs - 2 (+230)

This number has been the sweet spot for Mahomes of late. He's had exactly two passing TDs in both of the Chiefs' playoff games thus far and has had exactly two touchdowns in four of his last six games. In the two games he had a number other than two, he had three in the first game and one in the other, which averages out to two. The Chiefs have proven to be proficient enough on the ground of late that they haven't needed Mahomes to throw 4 touchdowns to win. I expect this trend to continue in the Super Bowl, and at +230, it's worth wetting the beak on.

3. Jalen Hurts to Throw an Interception - No (-140)

Jalen Hurts has been phenomenal at taking care of the football this season. He only threw 6 interceptions the entire season and three of those came in the final two weeks of the season when he was playing with an injured shoulder. He hasn't committed any turnovers in the playoffs thus far. While -140 isn't always the most attractive number, it's a great value that you probably wouldn't have gotten if he didn't throw those late-season picks. The Chiefs' defense hasn't exactly been ballhawks this season either. The Kansas City defense ranks just 18th in the NFL in interceptions per game.
