3 Best Prop Bets for Timberwolves vs Nuggets NBA Game 2 on April 19 (Can Minnesota Contain Nikola Jokic Again?)

Tuesday's slate of NBA postseason games includes a Game 2 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NBA odds list the Nuggets as the 8.5-point home favorite with the projected total set at 222.
Here are three of the best NBA player prop bets for the Timberwolves-Nuggets game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Timberwolves vs Nuggets Player Props
1. Nikola Jokic — Points: Under 23.5 (-118)
Nikola Jokic had a quiet offensive performance in Game 1, finishing with just 13 points on 50.0% shooting. He's now averaging just 11.0 points over his last three games, playing a role in my siding with the under on the above prop. Another factor is that Jokic is only averaging 21.4 points in 29 head-to-head matchups against Rudy Gobert, finishing with the under on this prop in the latest two encounters. I still expect Jokic to make an impact when it comes to his rebounding and playmaking, however, a huge offensive performance is unlikely.
2. Rudy Gobert — Rebounds: Over 11.5 (-113)
Speaking of Gobert, the veteran big man has made his presence felt on the glass over the last few weeks. The 30-year-old center is averaging 12.6 rebounds over his previous 14 games, finishing with more than 11.5 on 10 of those occasions. Gobert is also averaging exactly 11.5 RPG over his last 14 encounters with the Nuggets and is coming off a 13-rebound performance in Game 1. Even if the Timberwolves fall again, that won't stop the 'Stifle Tower' from doing what he does best.
3. Anthony Edwards to Record 2+ Steals (+100)
While Anthony Edwards is known for his flashy plays and offensive talents, he's been playing some great defense this season. He averaged a career-high 1.6 steals in the regular season, which has increased to a clip of 2.2 over the last five games. He finished with a pair of steals in Game 1, marking the fourth time in his last five outings that he's made good on this prop. With the Nuggets tallying the 11th-most giveaways while allowing the sixth-most steals in the NBA, Edwards should have more than enough opportunities to have another multi-steal performance.
