3 Best Prop Bets for Celtics vs Heat NBA Playoffs Game 4 on May 23 (Miami Holds Jaylen Brown in Check Again)

Updated:

Tuesday's NBA Playoffs slate features an exciting Game 4 showdown between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. Miami strengthened its series lead with a 128-102 home win on Sunday as Gabe Vincent led the way with 29 points on an 11-of-14 shooting mark.

Here are three of the best prop bets for Celtics-Heat Game 4, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Celtics vs Heat Player Props

1. Jaylen Brown - Points: Under 23.5 (-106)

Saying that it has been a tough offensive series for Jaylen Brown would be putting it lightly. The Celtics' small forward finished the regular season averaging 26.6 points per game, but checks in with a dismal 16.7 points per game during the conference finals. He has failed to reach the 24-point mark in each of the first three games as he has shot just 37.7% from the floor (2-of-20 from three-point range). Keep in mind he has only gotten to the free throw line four times, too, as Miami continues to take away his ability to draw fouls. Brown's career points per game average sits at 16.8 across the 19 games in which he has faced off against the Heat.

2. Kyle Lowry - Assists: Over 3.5 (-138)

This line sticks out when looking at the player prop market considering Kyle Lowry's job is to create open shot opportunities when he comes off the bench. He has been successful at doing just that during the Heat's playoff run considering he has tallied at least 4 assists in nine of his last 11 games. Even when Lowry only played in 17 minutes and shot 0-for-5 from the field in Game 2 against Boston, he still racked up 4 assists as he stayed aggressive on the offensive end of the court. Lowry should not see any kind of minutes decrease tonight, either, so back with prop bet with confidence.

3. Jimmy Butler - Made Threes: Under 0.5 (+118)

Taking this kind of prop bet is always a risky option as it takes only one shot for it to be deemed a loser. However, Jimmy Butler has only taken a pair of three-point attempts in the last two games and has missed them both. He has now failed to drain a shot from beyond the arc in six of his last eight games overall. The 33-year-old's ability to knock down mid-range jumpers or convert contested drives is causing Boston fits around the rim. At this point, there's no reason for him to switch up that strategy as the Heat try to secure a series sweep.
