3 Best Prop Bets for Celtics vs 76ers NBA Playoffs Game 7 on May 14 (Tatum Bounces Back at Home)

Updated:

Sunday's NBA Playoffs slate includes an exciting Game 7 showdown between the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics. The 76ers let a late lead slip away in Game 6 and were unable to close out the Celtics at home, so now they must return to Boston for a winner-take-all Game 7.

Here are three of the best prop bets for Celtics-76ers Game 7, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Celtics vs 76ers Game 7 Player Props

1. Jayson Tatum - Player Threes: Over 3.5 (+114)

Tatum struggled with his shot for most of Game 6 before finally catching fire in the fourth quarter, drilling a barrage of threes to ice the game. He finished the contest 4-of-11 from downtown, marking the sixth time in 12 games this postseason that he nailed 4+ treys. After finding his stroke at the end of Game 6 and getting his confidence back, look for Tatum to come out firing from deep in Game 7 at home. You have to love the plus odds here, too.

2. Joel Embiid - Player Threes: Under 0.5 (+114)

Embiid has been mostly a non-factor from beyond the arc in these playoffs, focusing much of his offensive effort in the paint. Not a great three-point shooter to begin with, this year's MVP is just 5-for-24 (20.8%) from downtown during this postseason, including 4-for-16 (25%) in this series. Embiid simply hasn't been attempting many threes, either, taking three or fewer in four of five games this series. He's gone under this prop in five of eight games during these playoffs, so back that trend to continue in a game where Embiid will likely stay in the interior.

3. Jaylen Brown - Player Points: Over 23.5 (-118)

Brown has been the perfect wingman for Tatum all season, especially in the playoffs. He's averaging 24.6 points per game during the postseason, going over this prop six times in 12 games. He's done most of his damage at TD Garden, too, going over this number in four of six home playoff games (including three of his last four) and scoring 23 points in one of the games where he missed. Brown should have a chip on his shoulder after scoring just 17 points in Game 6 and will be ready to step up if Tatum's shooting woes continue.
