The Michigan Wolverines football program has consistently proven to be one of the best in the nation. The amount of talent that has flown through Ann Arbor is vast, with many players making the leap to the professional level.

One of the positions that Michigan has been able to put solid starting talent into the NFL has been at quarterback. These are the three greatest NFL quarterbacks to come out of the Michigan program.

3. Brian Griese (1998-2008)

Drafted in the third round to the Denver Broncos, Brian Griese would spend five seasons in Denver and start 51 games with the team. He was voted to one Pro Bowl, won a Super Bowl as John Elway's backup, and he led the league in passer rating in 2000 (102.9) and completion percentage in 2004 (69.3 percent). Griese passed for 19,440 yards and 119 touchdowns during his 11-year career.

2. Jim Harbaugh (1987-2000)

Now the head coach of Michigan, Jim Harbaugh was one of the best quarterbacks to come out of the program. Starting double-digit games for four different teams, Harbaugh passed for 26,288 yards and 129 touchdowns during his 14-year career. He was also voted to one Pro Bowl and had a pair of season with double-digit wins in the early 1990's.

1. Tom Brady (2000-Present)

Everyone knows who Tom Brady is. Arguably the most accomplished quarterback in NFL history, Brady is a 14-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro, three-time MVP and six-time Super Bowl champion. The only thing Brady has not accomplished in the NFL is winning without Bill Belichick, which he will attempt to do with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season, hoping to solidify himself as the greatest to ever do it. His numbers are miles ahead of the rest of Michigan's passers, with his 74,571 yards checking in as more than the next three highest marks combined.
