3 Best Long-Shot Prop Bets for a Huge Super Bowl 57 Payday

Updated:

Super Bowl LVII is officially here, bringing an early Christmas to bettors across the United States. That's even more true this year with how much talent is on both the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, opening the door to a plethora of ways to win big this Sunday.

While it's smart to put money down on sure-fire bets, there's nothing like winning a big payday as the Lombardi Trophy is hoisted. Keeping that in mind, the best way to win big is to take advantage of some long-shot prop bets.

Although nothing in sports betting is guaranteed, here are the three best long-shot prop bets for a huge Super Bowl LVII payday.

Chiefs vs Eagles Best Long-Shot Prop Bets

1. A.J. Brown to Record 50+ Receiving Yards in Each Half (+1100)

The Eagles might not be playing this weekend had the Tennessee Titans not gifted them A.J. Brown over the offseason. The talented wideout created many sunny moments in Philadelphia this season, proven by his career-high 1.496 receiving yards. While he's only been held to 50 total receiving yards over the last two games, Brown has more than enough talent to surpass that total in each half this weekend. The Chiefs' defense is below average against the pass, surrendering 221.0 passing per game (No. 19), which increases to 235.6 whenever they aren't at Arrowhead Stadium. On top of that, Brown torched the Chiefs to the tune of 133 receiving yards in his last game against them. As someone who thrives when the spotlight is on him, expect Brown to have a "Golden God" type performance this weekend.

2. Travis Kelce to Score 3+ Touchdowns (+2300)

Travis Kelce should consider teaching as a backup career since he's been taking opposing defenses to school all season long. Between the regular season and playoffs, the dean of Tight End University has turned 131 catches into 1,514 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. Needless to say, if anyone can match Jerry Rice's record of three-plus receiving TDs in a Super Bowl game, it's Kelce. After all, the 6-foot-5, 256-pound monster of a man finished with at least three touchdowns twice this season. Just when you think you've seen all he can do, Kelce finds another way to have a highlight-reel performance to send the internet into a frenzy. With the Chiefs needing to match the Eagles blow-for-blow, Kelce making good on this prop is a real possibility.

3. Correct Score — Eagles 37, Chiefs 34 (+20000)

This bet is the definition of a long shot. Last week, former NFL running back Arian Foster claimed that the league was scripted on a podcast. Many memes emerged from Foster's remark, including one Twitter user "leaking" the "official" Super Bowl LVII script that saw the Eagles win 37-34. While the user in question likely has good photoshop skills, what if the script is real? What if they're secretly a time traveler that already saw exactly how the Super Bowl unfolds right down to Rihanna's halftime show? In all honesty, that probably isn't the case, however, a 37-34 final score isn't out of the question. The Eagles and Chiefs have two of the best offenses in the NFL and with the odds pointing toward a shootout, the above final score is a legitimate possibility. With the odds being as long as they are, even a couple of bucks wagered would yield a solid payout.
