Belmont Stakes 2023 Horse Odds, Trainers and Jockeys by Post Position

Tuesday's post-position draw brought us one step closer to the 2023 Belmont Stakes. Now that the field is finally set, we have a much clearer picture of how Saturday's race will look.

2023 Belmont Stakes Post Positions, Jockeys and Trainers

Tapit Shoes drew the favorable No. 1 spot on Tuesday for the Belmont Stakes. This position has been the most successful in the race's history, producing a whopping 24 winners. Despite this, however, Tapit Shoes remains a long shot to win at 20-1 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The current favorite to win the 2023 Belmont Stakes is Forte at 5-2. He'll be running from the No. 6 position on Saturday, which has produced nine winners in Belmont Stakes history.
