The 2022-23 college basketball season continues on Wednesday with a thrilling matchup between the No. 20 Missouri Tigers and No. 13 Arkansas Razorbacks. Missouri is coming off an exciting 89-75 win over Kentucky last Wednesday. Kobe Brown balled out with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

Meanwhile, Arkansas is in need of a bounce-back win after losing to LSU by a score of 60-57 in its most recent game (Dec. 28). The Razorbacks couldn't get anything going on offense and shot just 16.0% from three-point range (4-of-25). Davonte Davis scored a team-high 16 points in the defeat.

Arkansas enters this contest as clear home favorites on the moneyline and spread per FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This 8:30 p.m. ET clash also features an over/under of 154.5 points, which is above average compared to Wednesday's projected totals.

Arkansas vs Missouri Prediction & Pick

What a turnaround for Missouri. The Tigers finished as the second-worst team in the SEC last season (12-21), but have started the 2022-23 season with a dazzling 12-1 record. Five different Mizzu players are averaging at least 10.0 points per game and six players are shooting over 50.0% from the floor.

That balance and depth would usually cause ton of issues for opposing defenses. However, Arkansas is not any ole defense. It ranks sixth in defensive efficiency and is only allowing 55.7 points per home game. The Razorbacks also make life tough by forcing 18.1 turnovers per game (No. 7 in NCAA).

Arkansas is riding a 16-game home winning streak and I don't see that ending on Wednesday.

Final Score Prediction: Arkansas: 79 | Missouri: 75

Arkansas vs Missouri Best Bet

I find myself siding with the Razorbacks to win this game, but it's hard to ignore Missouri as a 7.5-point underdog. The Tigers' sole loss on the season came to a powerful Kansas squad and their average scoring margin on the road sits at +9.3 (No. 7 in NCAA). They keep exceeding expectations.

Overall, Missouri is 6-2 against the spread (ATS) in its last eight games and have the talent to give Arkansas a run for its money at Bud Walton Arena. Keep in mind this is a Tigers team that has lost by more than 7 points in just four of its last 12 head-to-head matchups against the Razorbacks.

Bet: Missouri Tigers +7.5 (-110)
