The stage for Super Bowl 57 is set. Head coach Andy Reid will look to lead the Kansas City Chiefs over his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, to capture another title.

This matchup will certainly mean a lot to Kansas City's HC with his past and present colliding. He spoke about facing Philadelphia after the AFC Championship win.

The 64-year-old was nothing but class, pointing out how much he loved his time with the Eagles. He said he's "happy for the city" considering how much fans there "love football."

Reid doubled down on his excitement while speaking with NBC Sports' Peter King. The veteran coach highlighted how he still has "a good relationship" with Philadelphia's front office after leaving on good terms.

No one would expect anything less from the Super Bowl winner. He spent his first 14 seasons as a head coach in Philly, enjoying plenty of success, including an NFC Championship win in 2004. Though he moved on after the 2012 campaign, he's still kept close ties to his former team while dominating with the Chiefs.

Reid's personal history is one of the most intriguing aspects of Super Bowl 57. It remains to be seen if he'll beat his ex-team in order to claim another Lombardi trophy, however, especially with the Chiefs listed as 1.5-point underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook's Super Bowl odds.
