Andy Dalton Shows Off Amazing New Look With Visor and Mustache at Training Camp

Updated:

Once a player has been in the NFL for a decade like Andy Dalton has, it's hard to imagine them changing up their look after that long. However, with Dalton joining the Chicago Bears this offseason, the 33-year-old gunslinger is rocking an amazing new look to kickstart the newest chapter in his career.

Dalton looked almost unrecognizable at Bears training camp on Thursday as he sported a new orange tinted visor and an impressively thick mustache.

For someone who was never seen as the coolest player in the league, Dalton's new look is drawing a lot of compliments on social media.

Dalton signed a one-year, $10 million contract with the Bears back in March with the condition that he'd be the team's No. 1 quarterback for the upcoming NFL season. Still, with Super Bowl 52 MVP Nick Foles and 2021 11th overall pick Justin Fields right behind him on the depth chart, there isn't a lot of room for him to make errors.

Dalton spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys and was expected to be the backup until Dak Prescott's season came to an early end with a gruesome ankle injury. By the end of the year, Dalton had suited up in 11 games (nine starts) for the Cowboys, finishing the campaign with 2,170 passing yards and 14 touchdowns to 8 interceptions. He'll be joining a Chicago squad that went 8-8 in 2020 and hasn't made it beyond the Wild Card round since 2010.

FanDuel Sportsbook is currently projecting the Bears to miss the 2021 postseason at -250 odds. Hopefully, Dalton's new look can give him the extra boost needed to help Chicago with its playoff aspirations this season.
