Week 10 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a massive SEC matchup between the No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide and No. 10 LSU Tigers. After losing its first game of the season, Alabama rebounded with a massive 30-6 win over then No. 24 Mississippi State two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, LSU is searching for its third straight win after a 45-20 victory over then-No. 22 Ole Miss on Oct. 22. It was a huge day for Tigers quarterback Jayden Daniels, who completed 21-of-28 passes for 248 passing yards with two touchdowns while also turning 23 carries into 121 rushing yards and another three TDs.

Recent history shows that Alabama has had LSU's number for quite some time. The Crimson Tide have won 10 of their last 11 games against the Tigers dating back to 2012. Even with this year's LSU squad being a top-10 program in the nation, it's worth pointing out that Alabama is 19-9-1 straight up when both schools are ranked.

So far, both programs have done well against the SEC, each owning a 4-1 conference record. Funny enough, Alabama and LSU's sole losses on the season both came against Tennessee. The only difference is that the Crimson Tide lost by only three points to the Volunteers in a 52-49 shootout, whereas the Tigers were blown out, 40-13.

LSU has also relied on its run game to succeed (as proven by their last victory). Even with the home-crowd support, it's going to be tough for the Tigers to get things flowing.
