Seattle Mariners rookie center fielder Julio Rodriguez has turned a tight Rookie of the Year race into the player-to-beat race. Rodriguez (-210) is now the clear favorite halfway through the season ahead shortstops Bobby Witt, Jr. and Jeremy Pena, according to American League Rookie of the Year odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Rodriguez is hitting .273 with 39 RBIs - tied with Witt for the rookie lead. His 13 home runs, 44 runs, 80 hits and 19 stolen bases lead AL rookies. Witt has 12 stolen bases and his hitting .239 while Pena is hitting .268 with 9 HRs and 27 RBI.

Vinnie Pasquantino entered the top-10 with his first hit and interesting home run for the Kansas City Royals on July 1.
