Adam Hadwin 2022 3M Open Odds, History, Predictions & How to Watch

Updated:

The Open Championship was the final major of 2022, and the PGA Tour returns to the states for three more tournaments ahead of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

This week it's the fourth edition of the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities North of Minneapolis. The 7,431 yard Par 71 Arnold Palmer-designed parkland course has water in play on 15 holes and is among the easiest putting greens on Tour. Tons of birdies and low scores are in the forecast.

Three top-25 players in the Official World Golf Rankings are in the field, and FanDuel Sportsbook provides 3M Open odds and additional prop bets.

Adam Hadwin 3M Open Open Odds

Adam Hadwin has +2000 odds to win the 3M Open. Only three top-25 ranked golfers, Tony Finau, Hideki Matsuyama and Sungjae Im have odds lower than Hadwin, who sits No. 53 in the current FedEx Cup standings.

Has Adam Hadwin Ever Won the 3M Open?

Adam Hadwin has never won the 3M Open, but he's finished top-10 in both his appearances in the event.

Adam Hadwin 3M Open Prop Bets

As for finishing position, Hadwin is -175 to finish top-40, +140 to finish top-20, +240 to finish top-10 and +550 to finish top-five.

In match betting, Hadwin is a slight -110 underdog vs Cameron Tringale (-116) in head-to-head tournament match-up.

Adam Hadwin 3M Open History

Adam Hadwin finished in 4th place in 2019 on debut. He also finished T-6 in the 2021 tournament.

Hadwin's best single-round score in the 3M Open was a 64 in Round 1 of the 2019 event on his way to fourth place finish at -16 under par.

Adam Hadwin 3M Open Prediction & Pick

Hadwin's success in two starts at the 3M Open is very encouraging with a weaker field this year than in 2021. The 34-year-old Canadian ranks T-5 in Strokes Gained: Total at this course and No. 3 in putting. His top-12 ranking in Ball Striking and Approach play over eight rounds at TPC Twin Cities is a positive profile, along with similar rank in proximity to the hole from 175+ yards.

Hadwin has had four top-10 finishes this year against stronger fields. He's accurate from the tee, and if the rest of his tee-to-green and driving game is on, then another top-10 finish can be had this week. But a top-20 finish is more realistic.
