Fugitt vs Kinoshita Prediction

Two welterweight fighters looking to become household names in the UFC meet head-to-head at UFC Vegas 68. Adam Fugitt enters with an 8-3-0 professional record, but lost to Michael Morales via KO in his UFC debut back in July. The 34-year-old is still aiming to earn his first win in the octagon.

As for Yusaka Kinoshita, he will be making his debut as a 22-year-old out of Japan at UFC Vegas 68. He turned heads at UFC 277 when he defeated Jose Henrique via KO during Dana White's contender series. Five of his six professional wins have come via a first-round stoppage, which shows his talent.

There's no reason to go against the fighter with momentum on his side here. Kinoshita has destroyed everyone in his path to get where he is now with top-notch strikes. Fugitt absorbed one strike after another in his debut and never recovered from some early shots. More of the same is to come.

I'll side with Yusaka Kinoshita to emerge victorious.

Fugitt vs Kinoshita Best Bet

There isn't much explaining to do with this best bet. Bettors wanting to back Kinoshita should not simply trust him as a -290 favorite, but rather trust him to take out his opponent via a knockout. After all, that's what has happened in four of his six wins, including his victory in the UFC contender series.

Fugitt was knocked out in his UFC debut and has been criticized in the past for a tendency to falter in his strike defense. He tends to get gassed out toward the end of a round, which leaves him vulnerable when the opponent starts punching. An aggressive approach by Kinoshita should end this one early.

Bet: Kinoshita by KO/TKO (TBD)
