76ers vs Celtics Prediction & Pick
Joel Embiid played 46 minutes on Sunday and the fatigue clearly caught up to him as he was getting blocked in the paint in crunch time. The good news for Philly was that it had a second superstar on the roster as James Harden took over, finishing with 42 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Both of the 76ers' wins in this series have come thanks to Harden's ability to score in bunches, but replicating that success inside TD Garden for Game 5 will not be easy. Not only has Boston won 10 of its last 12 home games overall, but it has also won 15 of its last 20 home games against Philadelphia.
The Celtics were caught off guard in Game 1 as they played lackadaisical defense and allowed the 76ers to steal a game on the road. With home-court advantage back in their favor, they should keep their foot on the pedal this time. I'll back Boston to earn a 3-2 series lead in another close contest.
Final Score Prediction: 76ers: 107 | Celtics: 111
76ers vs Celtics Best Bet
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are always going to be at the forefront of the Celtics' offense, but Malcolm Brogdon is showcasing why he was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year. He is averaging a reliable 19.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists across the first four games of this series.
Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla has taken notice, as Brogdon played in a postseason-high 36 minutes on Sunday. The 76ers' bench unit has had no answer for the veteran guard, allowing him to shoot a blistering 53.3% from three-point range in the series so far.
He has notched at least 23 combined points, rebounds and assists in five straight games, so look for him to extend that streak at home in Game 5.
Bet: Malcolm Brogdon Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-108)
