49ers vs Rams Prediction & Pick

This week marks the second 49ers-Rams clash of the season. The two rivals met back in Week 4, resulting in a 24-9 home victory for San Francisco. Unfortunately for Rams fans, I expect a similar result this weekend.

While the 49ers have looked shaky in recent weeks, I'm expecting a better effort now that McCaffrey will have had more practices with the team. The dual-threat RB is a game-changer in every sense of the word and already has 367 total yards from scrimmage with a pair of touchdowns in two all-time meetings against the Rams.

Besides, Los Angeles still has a ton to overcome. QB Matthew Stafford's eight interceptions are the second-most this season, while the backfield is a mess now that Cam Akers is on his way out of the team. With the Rams' only win in October coming against the lowly Panthers, there isn't a good reason to be confident in the defending Super Bowl champs.

Including the fact that the 49ers have won eight of their last nine games against the Rams, I like San Francisco's odds of a road win here.
