The San Francisco 49ers look to return to the postseason for the second time since 2014 when they take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18. Despite a playoff berth having yet to be clinched, 49ers fans are still wondering what their team's postseason could look like.

The 49ers have clinched a playoff spot.

What Seed Are the 49ers?

San Francisco will be the No. 6 seed for the NFC playoffs. They'll face the 3-seed Cowboys in the first round.

49ers Playoffs 2022

The 49ers will be one of six NFC teams playing during the first round of the playoffs. Wild Card Weekend will feature the six teams from each conference that did not earn a bye.

49ers Playoff Dates

The 49ers will play during the first round of the playoffs against the Cowboys.

Wild Card Weekend will feature two games on Saturday, Jan. 15, three games on Sunday, Jan. 16, and one game on Monday, Jan. 17. San Francisco would be assigned one of these three dates if they secure a playoff spot in Week 18.

The second round, aka the Divisional Round, will take place from Jan. 22-Jan. 23. That is followed by the conference championship round on Jan. 30. The Super Bowl is scheduled for Feb. 13.
