3 Best Prop Bets for Suns vs Celtics on Feb. 3 (Jayson Tatum Crashes the Boards)

Friday night's NBA slate features an exciting battle between the Phoenix Suns and Boston Celtics set to be broadcasted on NBA TV. Phoenix will be aiming for a bounce-back win following a blowout loss, while the Celtics will look for their third win in a row. There's no shortage of stars in this showdown.

1. Jayson Tatum - Rebounds: Over 8.5 (-122)

Jayson Tatum was just named to his fourth straight All-Star game and is in the midst of an MVP-like season. His entire game has taken another leap this year, but his improvements on the boards stand out the most. Tatum is averaging a career-high 8.7 rebounds per game on the year and a whopping 11.3 rebounds over his last nine games. The 24-year-old has cashed this prop in eight of those nine games and now faces a Suns' defense that is allowing an opponent offensive rebounding percentage of 24.6% this season (No. 21 in NBA). Look for Tatum to rise up and create enough second-chance opportunities for Boston to finish with at least 9 rebounds.

2. Mikal Bridges - Made Threes: Over 1.5 (-148)

It's a bit surprising to see this prop bet listed at 1.5 three-point makes instead of 2.5. Mikal Bridges is averaging 1.8 made three-pointers per game this season on a shooting percentage of 39.2% from beyond the arc, which are the second-best marks of his five-year career. Boston has been great at defending the perimeter this season, but the Celtics still allow 11.9 opponent three-point makes in home game (T-No. 15 in NBA). Bridges has drained at least a pair of three-pointers in seven of his last 10 games and will need to step up in a battle against one of the NBA's best offenses.

3. Al Horford - Points: Over 7.5 (-125)

This game has blowout potential, which makes avoiding point props on players like Tatum or Jaylen Brown a smart idea. They could get pulled early if things get out of hand. That is usually not the case with veteran Al Horford as he tends to stay in and give Boston some size down low. Horford is averaging 9.4 points per game on the season and is set to go up against a Phoenix defense that has allowed an average of 57.3 points in the paint over its last three games (No. 26 in NBA). Keep in mind the Florida product also averages 15.1 points per game against the Suns in his career and has cashed this prop in three of his last four games against them.
