The Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season kicks off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. FanDuel Sportsbook currently lists the Browns as 3.5-point home favorites less than 10 hours before kickoff.

Thursday Night Football Prop Bets

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Steelers vs. Browns matchup, courtesy of NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Steelers vs Browns TNF Prop Bets Tonight

1. Diontae Johnson - Receptions: Over 5.5 (+108)

Diontae Johnson continues to cement himself as the Steelers' No. 1 wide receiver just two weeks into the 2022 season. Though the under on this prop is being favored, it's important to point out that Johnson has averaged 6.5 receptions on 11 targets this year, giving him more than enough volume to hit the over. He's seen plenty of work in his last two games against the Browns, averaging seven receptions and 14 targets, hitting the over in both of those contests. Considering how Cleveland allowed Garrett Wilson to have an eight-catch performance last week, Johnson has a great opportunity to make good on this prop bet.

2. Nick Chubb - Rushing Yards: Under 84.5 (-110)

Nick Chubb has had a terrific start to the new campaign, rushing for 228 yards and three touchdowns on 39 carries. While he's a threat to any team he faces, the Steelers have kept Chubb in check more often than not. The Browns running back has averaged just 66.1 rushing yards in seven career games against his NFC North rival, finishing with the under on this prop in five of those games — including both of last year's meetings. Mike Tomlin knows how to slow Chubb down and even though the former Georgia product will still have an impact, don't count him racking up the yards tonight.

3. Mitchell Trubisky - Passing Yards: Under 190.5 (-110)

Mitchell Trubisky hasn't had a ton of passing success in his first season as Pittsburgh's starting quarterback. The 28-year-old veteran has averaged just 181 passing yards through two starts, finishing with below 200 in both contests. Even though the Browns are giving up 258 passing yards per game (eighth-most in the NFL), the Steelers' aerial attack hasn't looked that impressive. I think that this game will be won in the trenches too, limiting Trubisky's passing opportunities. With his best days seemingly behind him, I'm siding with the under on this prop.
