3 Best Prop Bets for Rams vs 49ers Monday Night Football Week 4

Updated:

Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season concludes with a Monday Night Football matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. While FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds project a close affair in this NFC West rivalry game, the 49ers are favored by 1.5 points at home in what should be a great game.

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Rams vs 49ers matchup, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's Week 4 odds.

Rams vs 49ers MNF Prop Bets Tonight

1. Deebo Samuel - Rushing Yards: Under 29.5 (-114)

Deebo Samuel was able to hit the over on his rushing yards prop in Week 1 and Week 2 thanks to a 51-yard run as well as a 27-yard run. Banking on him to put together big plays like that every week is not a smart idea, though. Samuel was bottled up in Week 3, notching only 6 yards on 5 carries. Keep in mind that recent history isn't on his side here, either. Samuel rushed for only 26 yards on 7 carries in his last matchup against the Rams, and that was with veteran tackle Trent Williams setting the edge for him. Williams is now sidelined with a high ankle sprain, so bet on the under here.

2. Cooper Kupp - Receiving Yards: Over 93.5 (-114)

Yes, this is a high number for any NFL wide receiver. However, Cooper Kupp has every opportunity to ball out on Sunday. The reigning AP Offensive Player of the Year logged at least 118 receiving yards in each of his three games against the 49ers in 2021. San Francisco has also been subpar in terms of defending top receivers so far this year, allowing 107 yards to Tyler Lockett in Week 2 and 97 yards to Courtland Sutton in Week 3. Overall, the 49ers are giving up 13.4 yards per reception to opposing WRs, so it may only take Kupp 5 to 6 catches to reach this mark for the third time in four games this season. That's not asking a lot in a game that's expected to be close.

3. Jimmy Garoppolo - Interception: Yes (-108)

The Rams' defense has given quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo fits in the past. In fact, he's thrown 7 interceptions across 6 career matchups against LA. He could be under more pressure than usual on Monday night without Williams protecting the left side of the offensive line. More pressure means more forced throws that Garoppolo will not want to make. That would not bode well against a LA defense that has already tallied 4 interceptions on the season. The Rams are going to be motivated to show up in a pivotal division rivalry game and will pick off Jimmy G at least once.
