3 Best Prop Bets for Miami vs UConn NCAA Final Four Game (Andre Jackson Jr. Shines as Huskies' Facilitator)

3 Best Prop Bets for Miami vs UConn NCAA Final Four Game (Andre Jackson Jr. Shines as Huskies' Facilitator)

Updated:

Saturday's Final Four schedule includes a thrilling showdown between the Miami Hurricanes and UConn Huskies. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds list UConn as a moderate 5.5-point favorite with the projected total set at 149.5 points. Fans are in for a great battle between two elite offenses.

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Hurricanes-Huskies game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Miami vs UConn Prop Bets

1. Andre Jackson Jr. - Assists: Over 5.5 (-122)

Andre Jackson Jr. has been doing it all for the Huskies during their run to the Final Four. He is averaging 7.8 points, 7.8 assists and 7.0 rebounds across four games while serving as the main facilitator on offense. The junior has tallied at least 6 assists in six of his last eight games overall, including all four March Madness contests. Miami is not known as a defensive juggernaut by any means and is giving up 14.4 assists per game this season (No. 294 in NCAA). That mark jumps to 15.3 when looking at the Hurricanes' last three games against admirable offenses in Indiana, Houston & Texas. Back Jackson Jr. to find his open teammates in this one.

2. Norchad Omier - Rebounds: Under 10.5 (-138)

Miami did not reach the Final Four just by luck and the efforts of big man Norchad Omier have proven that. The sophomore is averaging a double-double during the NCAA Tournament (10.5 points & 13.3 rebounds), but runs into a nightmarish matchup on Saturday. UConn is one of the best teams in the country when it comes to controlling the boards as its ranks second in total rebounding percentage (56.8%) and 10th in total rebounds per game (39.3). The Huskies also allow only 29.9 opponent rebounds per game (No. 7 in NCAA). Omier struggled a bit with Texas' size in the Elite 8 (9 rebounds) and I expect a similar struggle on Saturday.

3. UConn Huskies Over 77.5 Points (-108)

Talk about leaving nothing up for debate. UConn has destroyed every opponent put in its way during their Final Four run, averaging a reliable 81.8 points per game and posting an average scoring margin of +22.5. Head coach Dan Hurley's offense has been stellar all season long as it ranks ninth in offensive efficiency and 32nd in effective field goal percentage (54.0%). As mentioned above, Miami's defense is not scary whatsoever. The Hurricanes rank 198th in defensive efficiency and are coming off games in which they allowed 75 points to Houston as well as 81 points to Texas. UConn has an opportunity to ball out in what should be a fast-paced contest.
