3 Best Prop Bets for Lakers vs Warriors NBA Game 2 on May 4 (Thompson Creates Havoc on Perimeter)

Thursday's slate of NBA postseason games includes a Game 2 between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NBA odds list the Warriors as the 6-point home favorite with the projected total set at 227.

1. Klay Thompson — 5+ Made Threes (-105)

Although the Warriors didn't get the win in Game 1, they still shot an impressive 39.6% from three-point range. Part of that success had to do with Klay Thompson sinking 6 three-pointers on 16 attempts, proving that he's capable of hitting the Over on this prop. Thompson has now finished with 5+ threes in 11 of his last 15 outings, as well as in six of his previous nine at home. Considering how the Lakers allowed three Warrior players to finish with 6 three-pointers Tuesday night, Thompson is a great candidate for a repeat performance as long as he keeps his shots coming.

2. Anthony Davis — Points: Over 25.5 (-113)

Golden State had no response for Anthony Davis in Game 1. The talented big man had a terrific performance, scoring 30 points while shooting 57.9% from the field. Davis has now finished with over 25.5 points in three of his last five games. At the end of the day, the Warriors simply don't have anyone who can properly defend the former No. 1 overall pick, proven by his scoring 30+ points in his last two encounters with them. Until Golden State can successfully clog the paint, Davis will continue dominating.

3. Kevon Looney — Rebounds: Over 13.5 (-138)

Kevon Looney was an absolute menace on the glass Tuesday, finishing with a whopping 23 rebounds in 29 minutes of action. The former UCLA product is now averaging an absurd 18.8 rebounds over his last six games, finishing with more than 13.5 in all but one of those contests (where he had 13). I see Looney accomplishing the feat again in Game 2. After all, neither team shot the ball particularly well in Game 1, combining for a 43.4% field goal percentage and resulting in 102 total rebounds. I don't see either squad making huge game adjustments after one night of rest, so look for Looney to capitalize on both sides' missed opportunities again.
