3 Best Prop Bets for Jaguars vs Chiefs AFC Divisional Game (Kansas City RB Extends Historic Scoring Streak)

Updated:

The Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs kicks off on Saturday with an AFC showdown between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs come into this game as heavy favorites at -8.5 on the spread, but we should see plenty of offense from both sides in a game with a projected total of 52.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Here's a look at the best prop bets for the Jaguars vs Chiefs battle, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.

Jaguars vs Chiefs Playoff Prop Bets

1. Trevor Lawrence - Passing TDs: Over 1.5 (-114)

Lawrence just shredded the Los Angeles Chargers for 4 passing touchdowns in his postseason debut last week, including three in the second half alone. Now he gets to face a Chiefs defense that allowed the most passing TDs in the NFL this year (33). Lawrence already threw for a pair of touchdowns the last time he faced Kansas City in Week 10 (also at Arrowhead), so bank on the former No. 1 overall pick passing for multiple scores again.

2. Patrick Mahomes - Passing Yards: Over 310.5 (-114)

Mahomes led the NFL in passing yards during the regular season, topping this number in nine of his last 12 games. The former MVP has consistently torched Jacksonville throughout his career, exceeding 310 passing yards in all three of his games against the Jags and averaging 341 yards per game against them. The one-time Super Bowl champ has also been phenomenal in the playoffs, averaging 307.3 passing yards per game in his postseason career. Jacksonville gave up the fifth-most passing yards in the NFL this year, including 331 in Week 10, so look for Mahomes to exploit this friendly matchup at home.

3. Jerick McKinnon - Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-125)

McKinnon ended the regular season on an absolute tear, scoring at least one touchdown in six straight games to close out the year and racking up nine scores in all. In the process, he became the first running back in the Super Bowl era to record a receiving touchdown in six consecutive games. Look for that streak to carry over into the playoffs, as Andy Reid has found the perfect role for him catching short passes near the goal line. McKinnon has emerged as Mahomes' top red-zone target alongside Travis Kelce, making him a good bet to find the end zone again.
