3 Best Prop Bets for Hawks vs Heat NBA Play-In Game on April 11 (Can Atlanta Slow Down Jimmy Butler)
Tuesday's slate of NBA Play-In Tournament games includes a showdown between the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds list the Heat as the 5-point home favorite with the projected total set at 228.5.
Here's three of the best prop bets for the Suns-Nuggets game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Hawks vs Heat Player Props
1. Jimmy Butler — Points: Under 27.5 (-111)
Jimmy Butler has been crucial to the Heat's success this season, but asking him to finish with over 27.5 points might be too much. For starters, Butler is "only" averaging 24.8 points over his last 10 games. He's also finished with fewer than 27.5 points in all but a pair of those outings, including each of his last two. On top of that, Butler only owns an 18.9 PPG clip in 33 previous matchups against Atlanta, finishing with the over on this prop just five times. Although I expect he'll still make his presence felt (especially defensively), I don't see Butler having a 28-plus-point performance tonight.
2. Clint Capela — Rebounds: Over 10.5 (+112)
Clint Capela is coming off another impressive rebounding performance in the regular season, averaging 11.0 rebounds per game. Although he's only hit the over on tonight's rebounding prop twice in his last six games, I see that trend changing tonight. While the Heat's Bam Adebayo is one of the better defensive centers in the NBA, that hasn't stopped Capela from outmuscling him in the paint, averaging 11.2 rebounds in the last 10 games that the big men have gone head-to-head. On top of that, Capela has hit the over six times over that stretch. After Miami gave up 49 total rebounds in its latest outing, Capela will find success on the glass again.

3. Max Strus — Threes Made: Over 2.5 (-113)
Max Strus has been as effective as can be on the perimeter over the last several weeks. The Heat small forward is averaging 2.7 three-pointers on 43.5% shooting over his last 11 contests and is showing no signs of slowing down. He's finished with over 2.5 threes in six of those outings and is averaging exactly three in his last five games alone. While the Hawks' perimeter defense is solid, they've allowed opponents to average 14.0 threes with a 40.4% success rate over their last three games. With Atlanta looking vulnerable on the outside, look for Strus to do some damage from downtown.
