NCAA college football's bowl season is upon us, which includes the Cure Bowl. This year's event is shaping up to be an exciting one as the No. 25 UTSA Roadrunners chase victory against the No. 24 Troy Trojans at Exploria Stadium on Friday, Dec. 16.

Cure Bowl Prop Bets

Here are three of the best prop bets for the UTSA vs Troy Cure Bowl matchup, courtesy of NCAAF odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Best UTSA vs Troy Cure Bowl Bets

1. Zakhari Franklin — Receiving Yards: Over 77.5 (-114)

If Troy wants to win this game it must feed the ball to Zakhari Franklin. The senior wideout has been balling out this season, setting career-highs in receptions (86), yards (1,100) and touchdowns (14). While toppling 77.5 receiving yards is tough for some, it's another day at the office for Franklin, who accomplished the feat in nine of his 13 games this season. Troy appears to be tough on paper after allowing the 26th-fewest passing yards this season, however, it just surrendered 319 to Coastal Carolina in its last outing. Considering how Franklin has racked up 270 receiving yards in his last two games alone, finishing with 78 or more shouldn't be an issue.

2. Gunnar Watson — Passing Yards: Over 237.5 (-114)

Gunnar Watson wasn't perfect this season, but the Troy quarterback did set a personal best with 2,705 passing yards in 12 games. Now, Watson enters the Cure Bowl after having burned Coastal Carolina to the tune of 318 yards and a trio of TDs on 12-of-17 passing. The good news is that UTSA is the perfect opponent for him to continue this run, hitting the over on this prop in the process. The Roadrunners are surrendering 255.5 passing yards per game (No. 98), which actually increases to 262.7 when they're away from home. Furthermore, they only average 1.5 sacks (tied for 13th-fewest), meaning Watson should have a ton of time in the pocket to hit his targets and hit the over on this prop.

3. Kimani Vidal — Rushing Yards: Under 105.5 (-114)

Troy's Kimani Vidal has been absolutely destroying frontlines lately, hitting over 200 rushing yards in two of his last three games. Having said that, he accomplished those feats against UL Monroe and Arkansas State — the No. 121 and No. 91 run defenses, respectively. Vidal will have a tougher time running against the Roadrunners. UTSA allows the 50th-fewest rushing yards (144.4) and has only allowed one rusher to go over 100 yards in the last four games. Vidal has also finished with the under on this prop in 10 of his 13 outings this season, it makes perfect second to err on the side of caution by backing the under.
