3 Best Prop Bets for Ravens vs Saints Monday Night Football Week 9 (Alvin Kamara Feasts Against Baltimore Defense)

Updated:

Week 9 of the 2022 NFL season wraps up with a Monday Night Football battle between the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints. Both teams will look to fight through their injury troubles and pull out a win in primetime.

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Ravens vs Saints matchup, courtesy of NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Ravens vs Saints MNF Prop Bets Tonight

1. Alvin Kamara - Receptions: Over 4.5 (-156)

The Saints have finally started to properly utilize Alvin Kamara in the passing game after a few quiet games to begin the year. He's averaging a whopping 8.5 targets over the last four contests, which has helped him crush this reception total in each of those recent outings. Now, he gets a perfect matchup to feast against in Baltimore. The Ravens are one of the league's worst at defending pass-catching RBs, giving up the fifth-most receptions (6.2) per game. Coming off of a 10-target, 9-reception performance last time out, Kamara should continue to be a focal point of New Orleans' offense with their lack of healthy wide receivers.

2. Justin Tucker - Points: Over 7.5 (-114)

Justin Tucker has been very busy for a Baltimore offense that's one of the league's most productive. His 18 field goal attempts rank ninth in the league heading into Week 9, and his 16 FG makes are sixth. He's also converted a healthy 22-of-23 extra-point attempts for a team that ranks fifth in points per game before Monday's contest. Betting on a kicker isn't sexy, but Tucker's importance to the Ravens' scoring output is undeniable. He's gone over this total in six of eight games this year, including five straight. Baltimore should still be able to get into field goal range despite their injuries, paving the way for the big-legged Tucker to rack up points with ease.

3. Andy Dalton to Throw an Interception: Yes (-148)

The veteran Andy Dalton has still been susceptible to making mistakes as the Saints' starter this season. He's thrown a pick in two of his last four games, including a 3-interception outing just two weeks ago. This presents a huge opportunity for a Baltimore defense that's generated a ton of turnovers in the early going. The Ravens are tied for the sixth-most team INTs (8) heading into this contest, averaging a pick per game over their first eight contests. Dalton will need to pass the ball to keep up with a high-scoring offense, which opens the door for at least one errant pass on Monday night.
