3 Best Prop Bets for Pelicans vs Warriors NBA Game on March 28 (Curry Dazzles Chase Center Crowd)

Updated:

Tuesday's NBA slate of games includes a showdown between the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds list the Warriors as the 8.5-point home favorite with the projected total set at 234.5.

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Pelicans-Warriors game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Pelicans vs Warriors Player Props

1. Stephen Curry — Points: Over 27.5 (-114)

Stephen Curry continues to be the Warriors' best player, averaging 29.6 points on 50.0% shooting in his last 20 games. While he's been quieter as of late (23.0 PPG in his last five games), I expect him to turn things around tonight. For starters, Curry is tallying 28.0 PPG in his last 15 meetings with the Pelicans, finishing with over 27.5 points in nine of those contests. On top of that, he's also hit the over on this prop in six of his last nine home games, averaging 32.6 PPG over that span. With New Orleans likely being brought back to earth here, look for Curry to put on a show.

2. Herbert Jones — Steals: Over 1.5 (+114)

Herbert Jones might not score the most points, but his elite defense helps the Pelicans win games. The former Alabama product is averaging 1.6 steals this season and while he's only hit the over on this prop once in his last five games, I see that trend changing tonight. Jones turns his defense up a notch when he faces the Warriors, averaging 3.3 steals in four previous meetings. He finished all but one of those contests with at least 3 steals, including when he tallied 4 just under a month ago. Considering how opponents average 7.9 steals against the Warriors (fourth-most), Jones is talented enough to record a pair at least.

3. Kevon Looney — Rebounds: Over 9.5 (-122)

Double-digit rebound totals are just another day at the office for Kevon Looney. Golden State's big man is averaging 10.7 boards over his last nine outings, finishing with at least 10 in all but two of those games. Continuing that trend won't be an issue for Looney seeing as how he finished with 11 boards against New Orleans at the start of March. Additionally, he's tallying 11.3 RPG in his last 12 home games. With the Pelicans giving up the 12th-most rebounds to centers, expect Looney to have another productive night on the glass.
