3 Best Prop Bets for Bills vs Bengals Monday Night Football Week 17 (Ja'Marr Chase Finds the End Zone)

Updated:

Week 17 of the 2022 NFL season wraps up with an AFC showdown between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. Each team is fighting to stay alive in the race for the conference's No. 1 seed as tensions begin to grow with the NFL Playoffs right around the corner.

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Bills vs Bengals matchup, courtesy of NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Bills vs Bengals MNF Prop Bets Tonight

1. Joe Burrow - Rushing Yards: Over 12.5 (-118)

Joe Burrow is not known as a rushing quarterback, but he has logged at least 3 rushing attempts in all but one game this season. He has reached the 13-yard mark six different times and enters Monday night with a positive matchup. Keep in mind the Bills own a top-10 pressure rate in the NFL (23.1%), yet only rank 23rd in blitz rate. That means Buffalo is getting to the backfield without bringing extra men, leaving lanes open for QBs to run. The final score was also within one possession in five of the six games in which Burrow has hit this over. With the Bengals set as a small 1-point favorite, back the MVP to have a noteworthy scramble or two.

2. Stefon Diggs - Receiving Yards: Over 73.5 (-110)

Yes, Stefon Diggs is coming off a disappointing game (2 receptions, 26 yards) and has been dealing with an illness this past week. That doesn't mean he is suddenly going to disappear as quarterback Josh Allen's top option, though. Diggs has tallied at least 9 targets in 10 of his 15 games played this season and is averaging a reliable 88.3 receiving yards per game. Cincinnati is allowing 10.9 yards per completion (No. 28 in NFL) and has allowed five wide receivers to hit the 74-yard mark in the past three games alone. That includes Donovan Peoples-Jones and Kendrick Bourne. Diggs has proven to be a much more dynamic WR than those players, which gives him a great chance of bouncing back.

3. Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Ja'Marr Chase (+105)

Don't be surprised if the Bengals do whatever they can to get Ja'Marr Chase matched up opposite cornerback Dane Jackson tonight. That could mean using pre-snap movements, especially near the end zone. Jackson has logged 7 missed tackles on the season and allowed 3 touchdowns in pass coverage. Chase has tallied a ridiculous 10 red zone targets over the last four weeks and has racked up 13 more red zone targets than any other Bengals player on the year (25). The LSU product has also scored 6 touchdowns in his last six games played and is a threat to score no matter where Cincinnati's offense is on the field. Trust Chase to take advantage of the Bills' secondary.
