3 Best Anytime Touchdown Scorer Bets for 49ers vs Eagles (McCaffrey Strikes Gold at Lincoln Financial Field)

Updated:

The NFC Championship Game is just days away, pitting the San Francisco 49ers against the Philadelphia Eagles with a Super Bowl LVII appearance on the line. With the 49ers and Eagles featuring two of the more exciting offenses out there, there's no doubt that they'll put on a show this weekend.

FanDuel Sportsbook is expecting a decent amount of offensive action, listing the projected total at 46.5 points. With that being said, here's a look at the best anytime touchdown scorer bets for the 49ers vs Eagles showdown, courtesy of FanDuel's NFL odds.

49ers vs Eagles Anytime Touchdown Scorer Bets

1. Christian McCaffrey — Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-130)

Christian McCaffrey has been a man on a mission since being traded to the 49ers, recording 12 touchdowns (seven rushing, five receiving) in 13 games. What's even more impressive is that the dual-threat running back has scored at least one TD in eight straight contests. The Eagles' defense is among the league's best, but they still surrendered 15 TDs to RBs during the regular season and allowed Matt Breida to score on an eight-yard run last week. At the end of the day, the 49ers will continue to lean on McCaffrey and he's talented enough to handle that pressure, likely resulting in yet another touchdown.

2. A.J. Brown — Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+155)

A.J. Brown earned a lot of fans during his first season as an Eagle. On top of recording a career-high 1,496 receiving yards, the two-time Pro-Bowler also tied his personal best with 11 touchdown catches. It won't be easy playing against the 49ers' defenders, however, it's worth noting that San Francisco was tied for allowing the seventh-most TDs to wide receivers (16) during the regular season. What also makes Brown a candidate to score is that he amassed 145 receiving yards and a touchdown on 11 catches in his only other meeting with the 49ers. If the Eagles want to return to the Super Bowl, Brown finding the end zone would provide a huge help.

3. George Kittle — Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+185)

George Kittle's regular season was one of his best to date, finishing with a career-high 11 TDs. The former Iowa Hawkeye has now scored at least one touchdown in four of his last six games, tallying a total of seven over that stretch. Although the Eagles were tied for allowing the fifth-fewest TDs to tight ends (3) during the regular campaign, I'm not too worried about Kittle. He's played well in his last two games against Philadelphia, hauling in 19 catches for 200 yards and a touchdown. As long as Brock Purdy continues looking his way, Kittle is a threat to score against any team.
