2023 World Series Odds After Carlos Correa Signing

2023 World Series Odds After Carlos Correa Signing

Updated:

This has been one of the craziest baseball offseasons in recent memory. From big signings, to stars changing teams, some rosters have gone though major changes so far. Perhaps, nothing was more crazy than the Mets signing Carlos Correa in the early Wednesday morning hours, stealing him away form the San Francisco Giants.

Correa, previously had agreed to a 13-year contract with San Fran before something in his physical gave them pause. He then decided he was going to sign with the Mets instead, who continue their huge spending spree this offseason and now look like arguably the best team in baseball on paper.

The Correa signing, along with the rest of the Mets offseason moves have jumped their World Series odds up to the best in baseball at +650, tied with the defending champion Houston Astros. The Mets' cross-town rivals, the New York Yankees sit slightly behind them at +700, followed by the Dodgers at +750.

While the offseason certainly isn't over and we could still see some big shifts in both these odds and these team's rosters prior to the start of the season, this seems like as good a point as any to check in on the odds to win the 2023 World Series, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest MLB odds.
