2023 Kentucky Derby Odds Updated on FanDuel Sportsbook After Betting Favorite Forte Scratched

The 149th Kentucky Derby is finally here and set for a 6:57 p.m. ET post time at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY. With just hours until race day, horses, jockeys, trainers, and fans are preparing for the biggest horse race in America.

On Monday, the post positions were announced for the annual Run for the Roses. The original list contained 20 participants and three alternates.

As of Saturday morning, five horses have been scratched from the 2023 Kentucky Derby. The biggest news of them all is Derby favorite, Forte, bowing out this morning. The list of scratched horses can be found below, along with what their last odds were.
