2022 Tour Championship Power Rankings: Top 10 Golfers by the Odds

Updated:

The 2022 Tour Championship is set with the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup points standings ready to compete for huge money. The 7,346 yard par 70 at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta should provide more drama as the top players shoot at a $75 million prize pool.

All the money won in the final event of a 47-tournament season is considered bonus money and does not count towards a golfer’s official money earnings.

Each golfer is guaranteed at least $500,000 and the top-10 finishers each win at least $1 million. The top-3 finishers win $18 million for first place, $6.5 million for second and $5 million for third.

The added wrinkle for the fourth consecutive year of the Tour Championship is that the players at the top of the points standings start with a strokes advantage based on their season-long performances and FedEx Cup points earned.

Starting Strokes Leaders

- Scottie Scheffler (-10)
- Patrick Cantlay (-8)
- Will Zalatoris (-7)
- Xander Schaffele (-6)
- Sam Burns (-5)
- Cameron Smith (-4)
- Rory McIlroy (-4)
- Tony Finau (-4)
- Sepp Straka (-4)
- Sungae Im (-4)

Reigning Tour Championship winner Patrick Cantlay is in good shape to challenge for a repeat as he starts the tournament in second position and -8 under par. Cantlay won last week's BMW Championship for the second straight year.
