Bryce Harper was a phenom in high school. Basically considered the LeBron James of baseball back then, Harper had the highest expectations of any prospect we've seen in a while.

And it's not exactly too difficult to figure out why. When it came to the power department, Harper was pretty much unrivaled. Albeit with a metal bat, Harper smashed a 502-foot home run that landed above the huge screen in right field.

The bomb in question starts around the 4:15 mark.

Flashing some prodigious power with a remarkably smooth swing, Harper showed from an early age that he could be really special.

Though his first season in Philadelphia didn't go as planned, Phillies fans will certainly be hoping to see more moonshots like this from the former NL MVP.
