Who Has the Most Sacks in a Super Bowl?

The current Super Bowl sack record is held by former four-time champion and six-time Pro Bowl defensive end L.C. Greenwood. Greenwood spent the entirety of his 13-year NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and set the mark for the sack record at 4.0.

Greenwood recorded 4.0 sacks against Roger Staubach and the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl X (10), on Sunday, Jan. 18, 1976. The Steelers ended up as champions that year, beating the Cowboys by a score of 21-17.

Which Team Recorded the Most Sacks in Super Bowl?

The 2015 Carolina Panthers own the team record for sacks recorded in a Super Bowl. Carolina recorded 7 team sacks against the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016. The Broncos did end up winning that contest, 24-10.

The Los Angeles Rams' Aaron Donald and Cincinnati Bengals' Trey Hendrickson are names to watch out for in Super Bowl LVI. Donald leads the Rams with 12.5 sacks on the year, in addition to 98.0 career sacks, a top-10 active ranking in today's NFL.

Hendrickson led the Bengals with 14.0 sacks this past season, and has recorded 34.0 career sacks in five NFL seasons.
